Sensei Mark first tried out karate in 2005, but stopped after a few months. In 2012, he bgan training with Shoten Kyodo and earned his black belt in early 2018. He has taken part in numerous competitions and has a small haul of trophies.

Mark enjoys the kumite and self defence aspects of karate the most, as well as te comradery that is gained within the club.
